The Bayern Munich squad right now is absolutely stacked with talent, and of those, Joshua Zirkzee is one of the brightest. However, being a striker and getting playing time at the German club can be a difficult situation when you’re competing with the best number 9 in the world, Robert Lewandowski.
Hence, owing to the lack of regular playing time under manager Hansi Flick, the youngster is reportedly on his way out of the club on loan in an attempt to get more minutes on the pitch to work on his skills and become the best possible player that he can be.
Speaking on a possible transfer for the teenager, Fabrizio Romano and Francesco Porzio commented that Everton and Serie A club Parma were in talks to prize the starlet away on a short term loan deal.
While Bayern themselves are thought to be okay with the idea of letting Zirkzee go out on loan to get some experience under his belt, it really depends on the other clubs’ ability to convince the player to join their ranks.
Hence, considering the stronghold that Dominic Calvert-Lewin has on the centre-forward position at Everton, Parma could be the only possible destination for the Dutch born striker unless another club swoops in to lure him away.
