Kevin Csoboth’s 90+10 minute winner was enough to earn Hungary a fighting chance of making it to the knockout stages of the Euros. On the other hand, Scotland endured yet another group stage exit at the tournament, finishing last with only one point.
Hungary’s hopes of making it to the Round of 16 are not completely over just yet. They have three points and a goal difference of -3, which isn’t the best record. But, they still have a good chance with Slovenia on two points, Albania and Czechia both with one point.
Germany will face the runner-up of Group C in their Round of 16 match, while Switzerland will take on the runner-up of Group B, which could be Italy, Albania or Croatia.
