Espanyol has officially parted ways with head coach Manolo González following a humiliating Copa del Rey exit to fourth-tier Sestao River. After 107 matches in charge, González’s tenure ends as the club languishes in the relegation zone. With five winless league games, the board acted fast, appointing Eder Sarabia to lead the squad and turn their disastrous season around immediately.
