Barcelona have stepped up their offer to sign Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund in the summer. The club has reportedly discussed the sporting project, as well as the financial side of the move with the player ahead of the June transfer window.

The Spanish giants have reportedly offered Haaland a contract worth five years, according to OnzeTV3. The entire transfer, which includes the transfer fee, agent commission and salary – will cost Barcelona €300 million over the span of five years.

Erling Haaland transfer to cost €300 million for Barcelona

€75 million of the total amount will be paid to Borussia Dortmund as part of his release clause. €50 million of the remainder will be taken by his agent, Mino Raiola and his father Alf-Inge Haaland as commission to push him to complete the move.

Barcelona will then offer Erling Haaland a contract worth around €35 million per year. The salary structure would be increasing every year, with the wage starting from €20 million per season to €50 million for the fourth and fifth years, with a €10 million increase per season.

Real Madrid have also been linked strongly with the Norwegian sensation, but they are reportedly prioritising the signing of Kylian Mbappe. While the future of the Frenchman is still uncertain, Barcelona are putting the steps in place to secure the transfer of Haaland ahead of their rivals. They have also been linked with the likes of Franck Kessie, Andreas Christensen and Cesar Azpilicueta for transfers in the summer.
