Real Madrid are willing to break the bank for Erling Haaland this summer, with the club not ready to turn away despite having a €110 million bid rejected.

According to Spanish newspaper La Repubblica, Erling Haaland has given the transfer his approval along with his agent, Mino Raiola. Alf-Inge Haaland, the Borussia Dortmund star’s father, along with Raiola, visited Valdebebas in April and reportedly had a conversation with Florentino Perez.

The topics of their discussion varied from the project to what role Erling Haaland would have in the team. However, no formal talks regarding a transfer were held. Now, Real Madrid are willing to agree on a fee as high as €130 million for the player, who will have a €75 million release clause next year.

Florentino Perez is keen on signing a true Galactico for the fans to vitalize their spirit and start believing in bigger achievements again.

Erling Haaland's stats show his greatness even at 20

In reality, Haaland has a contract with Dortmund until 2024 but it is unlikely that he will stay at the Westfalenstadion that long. He was the highest goalscorer in Champions League in 20/21, with 10 goals from 8 games despite only playing until the quarter finals.

Personal terms have never been the issue with transfers of such high magnitude. The real challenge is finding an agreement with the club. And Florentino Perez will have to launch a ‘crazy bid’, which could be between €130-150 million for the player, who is attracting interest from all big clubs across Europe due to his other-worldly talent.
