The 22-year-old has completed his medical with the Man City doctors at Brussels. The paperworks are ready to be signed ahead of the transfer, which will be completed this week.
Manchester City and Erling Haaland have agreed on a contract until June 2027, and the salary will be at £375,000 per week. This is the same amount that Kevin De Bruyne is earning at the club, and the total amount won’t be exceeding that of the Belgian midfielder – widely regarded as the best at the club.
The €75 million release clause will be activated by the end of the week too, which would confirm his departure from Borussia Dortmund. The formal announcement will be made later this week after both the parties have officially discussed the payment of the release clause.
