Erling Haaland continued his record of scoring against every Premier League team with a hat-trick against newly promoted Ipswich Town. The Norwegian scored two from open play and one from the penalty spot to complete yet another incredible outing on the pitch.
Kevin De Bruyne chipped in with another goal, while assisting Haaland’s second to remind everyone of the sheer quality that Manchester City’s squad has.

Following his goal against Chelsea on the opening day of the Premier League, Haaland has now made it four goals in two games this season. He has won the Golden Boot for the past two seasons in a row and seems set to make it three given the start that he has had.
City could have easily had more goals, but were unlucky to strike the crossbar time and time again. But, in the end, it was enough to get them over the line and for Haaland to take yet another match ball home with him.
It’ll be interesting to see whether the City striker comes close to beating his own record of the most goals in a single season in 24-25.
