The move will not be announced anytime soon out of respect for Ajax and the fans of the club. The Dutch side are in the race for the Eredivisie title, and have already lost their chance to secure the domestic double with their loss against PSV Eindhoven in the KNVB Cup final.

The contract for the transfer is now being prepared, and will be checked again before it is confirmed. Erik Ten Hag will be signed on a deal until June 2026 or June 2025 with the option for another year.

The agreement includes transfer strategy, man management and backroom staff that Ten Hag will be able to bring from Ajax. He has been approved by the current manager and future consultant Ralf Rangnick as well. And now, it is only a matter of time before the move is made official for the Red Devils.
