Shakespeare & Hathaway - Private Investigators

Private inspector Frank Hathaway has always worked alone. But Frank isn’t doing so well. He’s out of shape and low on cash. Frank needs a partner. Frank needs ex-hairdresser and people-person Lu. He just doesn't know it yet. The two eventually join forces and form a highly unlikely and hugely entertaining detecting duo. Frank and Lu quickly discover that all…

Shakespeare & Hathaway - Private Investigators follows Frank Hathaway, a hardboiled private investigator, and his rookie sidekick Lu Shakespeare form the unlikeliest of partnerships as they investigate the secrets of rural Warwickshire's residents.

The unlikely detectives return in the third series of this quirky crime drama, packed with corpses, comedy and cracking mysteries. Now that Lu has passed her private investigator exams and Frank has tided himself up a bit, there is not stopping them.

From suspected ghosts to the torrid world of Shakespearian escorts, not to mention the fiendish passions and bitter rivalries of ballroom dancing, it's business as usual for the debt-laden ex-policeman and his much more credible partner-in-crime. The oddly-matched sleuths return for more picturesque and whimsical mysteries.

Frank and Lu tackle quirky new mysteries in Stratford, from influencer feuds and deadly football sabotage to stolen homes and a masked vigilante. Starring Jo Joyner (Eastenders) and Mark Benton (Waterloo Road).
