Endrick recently became the fourth-youngest player to ever feature for the Brazilian national team in their 2-1 loss to Colombia. The striker became the youngest player in 57 years to debut for the Selecao, aged 17 years and 118 days old.
He was unable to find the back of the net after coming off the bench, but has finally made his first appearance amidst all the hype surrounding him. The youngster briefly suffered a drop in form which saw him benched for several Palmeiras games, but has now regained his rhythm and achieved a career milestone in the process.
Endrick debuts for Brazil: The transfer story behind his rise
Even before the striker received a professional contract on his 16th birthday, he was on the radar of several top clubs. And as revealed by Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea were one of them. They brought the youngster over to London alongside his family to explain the project, but could not get the deal over the line.
Elsewhere, PSG made a €93 million offer to Palmeiras to sign both Endrick and Estevao.
Barcelona were also linked with his signature, but in the end, Real Madrid reached an agreement to sign the youngster in 2024 for €60 million upon the influence of their head of recruitment, Juni Calafat.
This season, the teenager has scored nine goals in the Brazilian Serie A, and remains tipped to succeed in Europe once he makes the move next summer.
