The 25-year-old has been with the London club since 2021, and has made 101 appearances for Spurs, scoring four goals and providing two assists. Now, he is set for a new challenge with a move to Italy lined up.
The former Real Betis player has the ability to play as a right-back and left-back. As a result, he could bring a new level of versatility to Paulo Fonseca’s Milan team heading into the new season. With Alessandro Florenzi, Davide Calabria and Theo Hernandez in the team, it’ll be interesting to see how much game time Emerson Royal gets upon his transfer.
Elsewhere, Spurs have agreed a record deal to sign Dominic Solanke as their new striker from Bournemouth, in a £65 million transfer.
