Emergency Release Date: Renowned Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has recently disclosed the eagerly awaited release date for her upcoming directorial project, Emergency. The announcement comes hot on the heels of her participation in the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony in Ayodhya, reflecting a unique blend of cultural events and cinematic endeavours. The film, scheduled to hit theatres on June 14, 2024, delves into the tumultuous period of the Emergency in Indian history, with Kangana herself portraying the iconic figure of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.

Kangana took to social media to share the exciting news, unveiling a new poster of Emergency alongside the announcement. The poster prominently features Kangana as Indira Gandhi, exuding the aura of the formidable leader during one of India’s darkest hours. The caption reads, “Unlock the story behind India’s darkest hour. Announcing Emergency on 14th June, 2024. Witness history come alive as the most feared and fiercest Prime Minister. About Emergency

Produced by Zee Studios and Manikarnika Films, Emergency is poised to be a mega-budget cinematic portrayal of one of the most controversial episodes in Indian Democracy’s history. The official logline emphasizes the central figure of Mrs. Indira Gandhi, the first woman Prime Minister of India. Kangana assumes the titular role, supported by a stellar cast including Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhary, Milind Soman, Shreyas Talpade, Vishak Nair, and the late Satish Kaushik. Ritesh Shah has contributed to the screenplay and dialogues of the movie.

Directorial Debut
