The talented actress Kangana Ranaut unveils her first look of the former prime minister Indira Gandhi for the film, ‘Emergency’. Last Thursday, the official teaser trailer of the upcoming directorial film, Emergency just dropped, we have seen Kangana who just resembles the actual look of the late PM, the two things a spectacle, and her starched cotton Saree just complete her look. The film is set to do under Kangana’s production banner, Manikarna Films.
We think it’s very early to tell whether the actor will be able to perform the role of the respected politician and how she may present the era that has often invoked the darkest hour of Indian democracy. Kangana has seen to be in pain while saying the film is not about Gandhi’s biography. In the short video, we have seen Kangana also getting a call from the former secretary of the US, Henry Kissinger who is asking if the American President Richard Nixon was able to address him as “Ma’am’ instead of the usual Sir.
After this Kangana, as Indira just takes a beat and replies yes, then turns to her secretary, and just asks him to inform the US President that all the staff in the office just refers to her as ‘Sir’. The camera moves that shows, the complete face, we also can see the side profile is absolutely looking like Indira Gandhi. The most interesting fact is Kangana seems like working very hard on modulation of her voice to make it sound that’s different from his own.

While the Bollywood controversy Queen talking about the film, she said, “Emergency reflects one of the most important periods in Indian political history which changed the way we view power and that’s why I decided to tell this story. Moreover, playing a public figure on the screen is always a challenge due to one has to get that look, the characteristics, and the persona right.
I spent a significant amount of time researching the subject and once I felt I has enough ammunition, I commenced the film’s shoot.” Recently, Kangana also shared a newspaper clipping from 1975, and wrote, “These were the most dramatic events in the recent history of the world.
