Emami East Bengal sign 5 foreigners ahead of ISL

Emami East Bengal announce signing up of the following 5 international players of senior squad. Amongst the five players, Charalambos Kyriakou, the versatile defender from Cyprus will be the first international player of Emami East Bengal to arrive in the city tomorrow. The 32 year-old Cyprus defender has appeared 11 times in national jersey. He has been a champion of all domestic leagues in Cyprus.

After a long suspence and questions, Emami East Bengal finally made its foreign signings today. The Kolkata giants had their national signings on August 2,2022. Head coach Stephen Constatine along with assistant coach Bino George started their practice season last week onwards.

ISL star, Ivan Gonzalez has fantastic two seasons with FC Goa playing 36 games. The former Real Madrid youth player won the Durand Cup with Goa last year. The 32-year-old Spanish central defender played 36 of FC Goa’s 42 games in the last two ISL seasons. Eliandro, the 32-year-old Brazilian forward has won silverware in Lithuania and Malta besides having played for several clubs in Thailand where he has scored 23 goals in the last two and half seasons.

Alex Lima also had a amazing experience with Jamshedpur FC playing 41 games in the last two ISL seasons. He also 2021-22 League Winners Shield with Jamshedpur FC. Former Bengaluru FC forward Cleiton Silva who scored 16 goals in last two ISL seasons is the fourth international signing of Emami East Bengal. Eliandro is the new signing of Emami East Bengal in ISL 2022-23, who had won silverware in Lithuania and Malta. The forward have also played for several clubs in Thailand.

Emami East Bengal sign 5 foreigners ahead of ISL

However, Emami East Bengal have not yet signed any Asian players yet and are looking forward with David William. The former ATK Mohun Bagan forward is in the eyes of arch rival Emami East Bengal along with former Mumbai City FC star Hugo Boumus.
