According to reports, Elon Musk has changed his mind about buying Twitter as originally intended. Long ago, the business magnate pulled out of the agreement, but it now seems that Musk is considering making another purchase of the platform.
For those who don’t know, in April 2022 the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX proposed buying Twitter for 44 billion US Dollars. A debate over the quantity of fictitious and spam accounts that Twitter claimed on its network quickly caused the agreement to go on hold.
Despite the fact that the social media juggernaut asserted that the number was less than 5%, Musk chose to back out of the agreement. According to him, his contract with the microblogging platform broke due to a lot of spam accounts on their platform.
Musk allegedly pulled out of the agreement in July 2022 because the business hadn’t given him enough useful business information. The social networking company responded by suing Elon Musk in an effort to pressure the businessman to make the initial purchase. The business claimed that Musk had ruined the value of its stockholders and interfered with business operations.
But as of right now, before the trial, which was scheduled to start on October 17, Musk has changed his mind regarding the buyout. The trial should fail if Elon doesn’t have another change of heart because he plans to repurchase Twitter.
