Frankfurt have confirmed the arrival of Marcel Wenig in the summer as well, and have further stated that the player has signed a contract until June 2025 too.

Their[sports director Markus Krösche said](https://profis.eintracht.de/news/marcel-wenig-kommt-aus-muenchen-139359): “With Marcel Wenig we are gaining a great German midfield talent. Over the past five years he has enjoyed training at the highest level at FC Bayern Munich and we would like to continue to develop it. At his age, Marcel is of course only at the beginning of his development in the men’s division, which is why we will build him up carefully.”

Alongside the likes of Florian Wirtz, Jamal Musiala and Kai Havertz, Wenig could be the next prolific attacking midfielder to represent Germany in the future.
