Eduardo Camavinga has returned to Real Madrid from the France national team camp due to a knee injury. The midfielder suffered a clash in injury with Ousmane Dembele that led to the injury. He was unable to complete the practice match and went in for a scan.Â
An initial assessment revealed that he felt alright, but subsequent scans revealed a small problem. As a result, he has withdrawn from the French national team with Khephren Thuram called up as his replacement.

The injury doesn’t seem to be serious, but the player and Real Madrid don’t want to take any chances at this stage. France’s upcoming fixtures are against Gibraltar and Greece, with nothing to play for since they have already qualified for the Euro 2024 finals through their group.
With that in mind, the 21-year-old will recover for the coming days in hopes of returning to action for Los Blancos after the international break. However, no timeline has been placed on his return just yet.
The men in white will take to the pitch on November 26 after the international break for the LaLiga fixture against Cadiz. They will have a hectic run heading into the holiday period, with seven games to be played in 25 days.
This could cause further problems and add to the injury list for the club, which has already been crowded for the past few years.Â
