Rennes and Real Madrid reached an agreement for the transfer of Eduardo Camavinga, for a deal worth €31 million that could rise to over €40 million with add-ons on the transfer deadline day, 31st August 2021.
The French midfielder was pursued by PSG and Manchester United as well throughout the summer, but he chose Real Madrid over the two on deadline day. He has now finally arrived in Madrid before his official presentation at Real Madrid.
Real Madrid were focused on signing Mbappe throughout the summer but made a surprise bid at the very end of the transfer window and was able to sign the promising teenager. The 18-year-old is now on his way to his dream club, and Madrid have got themselves a bargain deal for the talent the youngster is showing as a teenager.
Camavinga is France’s youngest player, as well as goalscorer in over 100 years, and he could establish himself as one of the best in the world at his new club where he has signed a deal until 2027.
