Eduardo Camavinga was surprisingly linked with a loan move to Arsenal for the latter half of the season. However, both his camp, and the club have denied any such situation wherein he would be allowed to leave.

He is seen as a very important part of the project for the future, and the injury to Aurelien Tchouameni has further added to his importance right now. He is expected to stay not only until the end of the season, but for many more years.

No loan move for Eduardo Camavinga – Arsenal rumours false

There's absolutely no chance for Real Madrid to change their stance on Eduardo Camavinga. He will stay as the club considers him key player for present and future of Madrid ⚪️🔒 #RealMadrid

One of the main reasons behind the rumours suggesting that he would leave was the lack of playing time. The Frenchman was also benched at half time for multiple games by Carlo Ancelotti, which only fuelled the rumours further.

However, in his most recent outing against Athletic Club, he was very impressive and showed exactly what he can bring to the table. Considering the hype surrounding him, it can be easy to forget that he is only 20 years old and has a lot of room to develop further.

Game time will no doubt come for the youngster, especially with load management an essential part for the ageing Kroos and Modric.

In due course, the two veterans will be phased out of their important roles in the team and the next generation will take their place. Eduardo Camavinga, then, will be one of the main faces in the heart of the park as decided by the board.
