East Bengal transfers news 2024-25: All new signings and outgoings revealed

Hector Yuste completes foreign contingent

East Bengal have completed their six-member foreign contingent by signing Hector Yuste till 2025. The Spanish central defender becomes the first overseas player to feature for both East Bengal and Mohun Bagan SG in the ISL era.

Jeakson Singh officially joins East Bengal for ISL record fee

After weeks of speculation, Jeakson Singh has been unveiled as a new signing for East Bengal to the home fans. The defensive midfielder has signed a four-year contract and has made the move for an ISL record fee worth ₹3.3 crore. He will be wearing the number six jersey at his new club, as revealed at his presentation.

ISL Golden Boot winner Dimitrios Diamantakos, and Mohammedan striker David Lalhansanga join East Bengal

To solve their goalscoring woes and reinforce their striker position, East Bengal have signed not just ISL Golden Boot winner Dimitrios Diamantakos, but also David Lalhansanga from their local rivals, Mohammedan Sporting. The Greek striker scored 13 goals for Kerala Blasters this past season, and will surely be a huge addition for the team as they look to mount a title challenge in the new season.

Lalhansanga, on the other hand, provides a solid alternative and makes up the important domestic player contingent at the club, allowing Carles Cuadrat to field foreigners in other positions when the situation calls for it.

Madih Talal joins East Bengal after sensational debut season

After providing six goals and 10 assists in his debut ISL season, Talal has made an ambitious switch to East Bengal. The French-Moroccan attacking midfielder will likely pair with Saul Crespo and Souvik Chakrabarti in midfield and will be given the license to go forward and exercise his creative brilliance to produce goalscoring opportunities.

Mark Zothanpuia joins East Bengal from Hyderabad FC

Zothanpuia has been officially announced by the club as the new domestic recruit in midfield. The 22-year-old has signed a three-year contract till 2027 and could be a valuable addition to the central midfield position if he can adapt quickly.

Debjit Majumder returns to East Bengal from Chennaiyin FC; Mandar moves to the Machans

East Bengal’s search for a reliable backup goalkeeper has led them back to their former player, Debjit Majumder, who had a strong season with Chennaiyin FC this past season.

Mandar Rao Desai has moved in the other direction to reinforce Owen Coyle’s defence for the coming season.

Privat Lakra and Nishu Kumar sign for EB permanently

Nishu Kumar has signed a permanent contract with East Bengal after his loan spell from Kerala Blasters. The left-back was played out on the right on several occasions this past season but was reliable on either flank and has now committed to the club till 2025.

The Red and Gold side has also recruited West Bengal’s own Provat Lakra from Jamshedpur FC to bolster their defence further. The left-back has signed a two-year deal till 2026.

East Bengal announced three foreigners to leave

In an official post, East Bengal have confirmed the departures of Victor Vazquez, Felicio Brown Forbes and Aleksandar Pantic. All three were signed in the second half of the 23/24 season after the Super Cup win. And after a brief spell, they have all been let go of.

Javi Siverio signs for Jamshedpur FC permanently

After winning the Kalinga Super Cup with East Bengal, Javi Siverio signed with Jamshedpur FC for the second half of the season. And now, he has signed a new contract with the Men of Steel till 2025. Siverio was replaced by Felicio Brown Forbes, but new options have now been brought in with the latter leaving too.

Jose Pardo signs for CD Extremadura from East Bengal

Pardo’s season for East Bengal was interrupted by a major injury, which prompted the club to look to the transfer market. Now, the towering defensive midfielder has returned home to join CD Extremadura in Spain.

Will Anwar Ali join East Bengal?

If the PSC can reach an agreement over his loan move termination with Mohun Bagan SG.
