- **Weekend League rewards** (Thursday evenings see price drops)
- **Content releases** (new promos can crash specific player prices)
- **SBC expiry approach** (last 24 hours often see price increases)

## Alternative Options

Before committing to this expensive SBC, consider these alternatives:

## Chemistry and Links

- **Perfect fit** for hybrid squads combining multiple leagues

His Heroes chemistry makes him ideal for linking different leagues and nations without chemistry penalties.

## Final Verdict

Jaap Stam represents a premium defensive option that will significantly improve most squads. However, the high cost makes him suitable primarily for players with substantial coin reserves or those who can utilize many untradeable cards from their club.

His combination of defending, physical stats, and versatile chemistry makes him a long-term investment that will remain competitive throughout the game cycle.
