EA and DICE finally confirms Battlefield 2042 delay rumour

I know we are all waiting desperately for the arrival of Battlefield 2042, so here’s the latest announcement from EA and DICE, as both developers have confirmed that Battlefield 2042 has been delayed due to “unforeseen challenges.”  well, this is bad news but hey, at least we have some confirmation about the game, and since it’s coming out on November 19, we can expect some new info on the open beta to come out “later this month.”

as we know that, all titles that were scheduled to be launched during holiday 2021 have already been delayed, but, until now, the three big tentpoles – Battlefield 2042, Call of Duty: Vanguard, and Halo Infinite – have held strong.

But, Battlefield 2041 has finally fallen and has been attacked and defeated by the delay bug. This information was first kicked off by Jeff Grubb, who had already hinted at another major delay regarding the Battlefield 2042.

Welcome to delay season. More delays coming this week.

this news was also confirmed by Shpeshal Nick/Ed and Dealer who has stated that the news is true and as we know from previous leaks, Henderson has as solid a track record as you can get when it comes to Battlefield 2042.

#BATTLEFIELD2042 Delay Update:

To be delayed by several weeks and not months which conflicts with the other rumors, but it's what I've heard.

Late Nov 2021 is currently flying around.

— Tom Henderson (@_Tom_Henderson_) September 15, 2021

It also seems like all of this is an unfolding thing right now internally – But we will definitely hear what's up by the end of the week. Dates are horrible to tweet about because they can change so easily, but this is what I've heard.

before the confirmation by EA and DICE about the delay, there were lots of rumors about the issue and most of the leaks were targeting the news of the delay rumors of Battlefield 2042. and the latest confirmation from EA and DICE simply confirms all those speculations.

Battlefield 2042 launches on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, and PS5 on November 19.
