Dynabook, a former laptop maker branch of Toshiba is better known for manufacturing its Satellite laptops. According to fresh sources, the coming is updating its Satellite business series with the Pro C50 budget-oriented models aimed at remote workers and students.
Reports indicate that the new Satellite Pro C50 15.6-inch laptops are a highly portable laptop that boasts a thin and light chassis with relatively inexpensive, yet powerful enough Intel Ice Lake processors.
Sources indicate that the chassis of the Satellite Pro C50 models has a 19.7 mm profile and the device weighs only 1.76 Kg. It features a special anti-bacterial dark blue paint coating that inhibits the growth of microorganisms such as bacteria.
On the CPU side, the company is offering options like the Core i3-1005G1, i5-1035G1, and i7-1065G7 with integrated UHD Graphics / Iris Plus GPUs, which can be coupled with 4 / 8 / 16 GB of DDR4-3200 RAM and 128 / 256 / 512 GB of SATA SSD storage.
Other features that are standard for all variants include:
- Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 4.2 + GbE NIC
- HD camera + dual mic array

The former Toshiba branch, Dynabook will start selling the new models globally starting next month. According to sources, the i3-1005G1 models with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB SSD are priced at $519, and the i5-1035G1 with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB SSD has a $729.99 MSRP.
