Rumours recently emerged of Chelsea sending an €80 million bid for Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic. However, those have been put to bed by renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano, who says that a concrete offer has not been made as of yet.
The Serbian is one of the many names that the Blues are looking at this summer. It is almost certain that they will sign a new striker this summer, and Vlahovic is one of the names on the list. He is also being considered by Bayern Munich and Manchester United – both of whom need a recognised number 9 as well.
No concrete offers from Chelsea for Dusan Vlahovic as of yet
The former Fiorentina man has not been able to replicate his form since his move to the Bianconeri. This season, he has scored 14 goals in 41 games across all competitions, which is a stark drop from his performance in 21/22.
He scored 17 goals in 21 games with Fiorentina last year, before his move to Juventus. Many have argued that Max Allegri’s tactics have not suited the forward, which is one of the reasons why his numbers have dropped.
Dusan Vlahovic has a contract with Juventus until 2026, and has only spent a year and a half with Juve. However, the club is open to listening to offers for him this summer and there is a very real chance he could leave.
