Dusan Vlahovic currently leads the race for the Capocannoniere, with 15 goals from 17 Serie A games this season. The 21-year-old has attracted a lot of interest from the top clubs across Europe in light of his incredible performances every week.

Juventus, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal are among the names interested in signing him. The striker’s contract expires in 2023, and unless he is sold for a fee in the summer of 2022, he will be able to walk out for free a year later.

Vlahovic rejects best-ever contract offer from Fiorentina

The board has already made several offers to try and keep the player beyond 2023. But, he has told the club that he will not be renewing his contract any further. Fiorentina have reportedly made their best ever contract offer for the 21-year-old, but to no avail.

According to Joe Barone, Fiorentina’s chief executive, speaking to Republicca:

‘We’ve offered Vlahovic the highest contract ever in the history of Fiorentina, several times.

‘Both Dusan and his agent made us realise that they do not want to accept. Our bid is still on the table.’

Manchester United have checked on the player’s situation, and would be willing to make a bid. The same can be said for Tottenham and Juventus. Despite Arsenal’s interest, he has said that he has no interest in joining them.

Vlahovic’s transfer saga will be one to follow in the summer, alongside Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland, both of whom are expected to switch clubs at the end of the season.
