Ever watched a trailer and felt like something was being held back? Turns out, that gut feeling was right. Dulquer Salmaan himself has confirmed that the[**I’m Game**](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/I%27m_Game_(film))trailer was crafted to hide the film’s real twist — and it involves a fantasy element nobody saw coming.

### What Did Dulquer Salmaan Actually Say?

While interacting with students at a college event in Hyderabad, the actor-producer admitted that the trailer intentionally skipped the film’s surprise core concept to protect the theatrical experience for audiences. Fans had speculated the story revolves around a hand transplant recipient whose new hand seeks revenge for its previous owner — and Salmaan’s comments suggest there’s more fantasy woven into that premise than the marketing let on.

In the trailer, his character Dan John is shown as a carefree risk-taker who bets using an algorithm — until the system turns against him and his life spirals. But the “why” behind that spiral, DQ hints, is where the real fantasy twist lives.
