The megastar from Kollywood Vijay Sethupathi, coming with a new film. The upcoming film is a typical college drama film with many ingredients might expect from commercial cinema from a decade ago. The movie has set to be seen in a cop avatar in his upcoming action thriller film DSP. The fantastic revenge drama movie holds many such ingredients expected from such commercial cinema. Sethupathi is doing his best to hold the film. The dun-to-death tales offer little to the both actor and the audience.
The actor has collaborated with director Ponram for his upcoming film, which is the 46th of his career. Ponram is known for directing movies like Thirutham, Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam, Rajinimurugan, Seemaraja, and MGR Magan.
DSP has 2018’s Femina Miss India World winner Anukeerthy Vas playing the female lead, while actors Shivani Narayanan of “Bigg Boss Tamil 4” and “Vikram” fame and Pugazh of “Cooku With Comali” fame are also part of the film.
The film, presented by Stone Bench Films and produced by Kaarthekeyen Santhanam, has a team of promising craftsmen, which includes Venkatesh S. and Dinesh Krishnan as the cinematographers, while Vivek Harshan is onboard as the editor.
DSP: Cast
Directed and written by Ponram, the film is going to feature a high-ranking police officer, the Deputy Superintendent of Police. Prior to that, he played a cop in the 2016 action thriller Sethupathi.
His most recent release is the Malayalam drama film 19(1)(a), which featured him alongside Nithya Menen and Indrajith Sukumaran and had a direct release on July 29, 2022, on Disney+Hotstar.
Apart from DSP, he has several projects in the pipeline, such as Michael, Viduthalai, and the Hindi films Mumbaikar, Merry Christmas, and Jawan.
Popular music director D. Imman composed its music, K. Veerasamar served as the art director, and Dinesh Subbarayan has taken care of stunt choreography. The lyrics were penned by Yugabharathi, Ponram, and Vijay Mathupandi. Kahraman, S. Somasegar, and Kalyan Subramanian are serving as co-producers of the film.

The poster of the film was released on 11th November 2022, the movie gas featured the megastar in a cop-avatar riding a bike in swag. The makers set for a grand release on 2nd December 2022, will start soon.
