The training, which began today, is a major advancement in incorporating cutting-edge technology into law enforcement. It provides police officials with the necessary skills to use drones as an ‘Eye in the Sky,’ offering unmatched surveillance, site reconnaissance, target identification, and quick response capabilities.

Prateek Srivastava, Founder and Managing Director of DroneAcharya, spoke highly of this partnership and its potential to boost law enforcement capabilities. “By training police officers to use drones effectively, we’re taking a crucial step towards using technology to enhance law enforcement. We’re proud to support the Maharashtra Police on their journey towards technological advancement,” he said.

Amit Takte, DroneAcharya’s Chief Technology Officer, emphasized the importance of the training for the Maharashtra Police. “This program will allow them to use drone technology to improve operations and ensure public safety across the state,” he said. “We aim to train 1,95,000 officials within the Maharashtra Police Department, ensuring widespread proficiency in drone usage.”
