Douglas Costa is set to join MLS side LA Galaxy in the coming days. The transfer has been given the here we go signal by transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, which means that it is only a matter of time before the move is official.
An agreement has been reached for a six month loan, followed by the option of a two-year contract. The Brazilian is planning to arrive in Los Angeles on Sunday to complete the formalities of the move and make it final.

The paperworks for the transfer have already been completed and approved. He will be joining them on loan before permanently making the switch as a free agent. The details for the permanent switch have all been agreed already.
The official announcement of the signing is expected to be made on Monday, once the medical and formalities are taken care of. Brazilian club Flamengo were also interested in signing the forward, but LA Galaxy have won the race for Douglas Costa already.
This summer, he was sent out on loan to Gremio, but Juventus are now loaning him out to the MLS side ahead of the expiry of his contract.
He has played for Bayern Munich in Germany and for Juventus for a couple of seasons, but ended up losing his spot in the first team. The winger constantly battled injuries which hindered his ability to earn regular playing time on the pitch.
