Double XL: Sonakshi Sinha and Huma Quereshi’s Film is Now Streaming on Netflix

Huma Qureshi and Sonakshi Sinha’s film “Double XL” got a huge response from the audience, and now, the film has moved to Netflix.  As we are entering into the modern world, body shaming and body positivity have just been a platform of criticism. We have previously seen that many celebrities already have opened up about it. They have talked openly about it and also called out the people who are judging others from the prism of superficial beauty and also about such unrealistic standards.

Double

In India, it seems that fat-shaming is the normal way for a long time. There are also many films where the characters are lampooning on a certain weight, but now things have come to a better position. In the film Ayushmann Khurrana Duma Laga Ke Haisha in which Bhumi Pednekar was cast in the lead role of the plus size. Without having preachy, the movie has remained inclusive and also has sent a positive message to the entire world.

On social media now things have been continued as a tad murky.   It is showcasing some confidence for plus-size people and also even if actors have gained weight for a movie there is an army of trolls waiting to tear down them.
