Huma Qureshi and Sonakshi Sinha’s film “Double XL” got a huge response from the audience, and now, the film has moved to Netflix. As we are entering into the modern world, body shaming and body positivity have just been a platform of criticism. We have previously seen that many celebrities already have opened up about it. They have talked openly about it and also called out the people who are judging others from the prism of superficial beauty and also about such unrealistic standards.
In India, it seems that fat-shaming is the normal way for a long time. The trailer of the film has described some self-deprecating dialogues that are seemingly directed at the people who already have been mocked in the past and expect to do it again, and it has given the plot of the film for which they have gaining gain weight.

The film Double XL was theatrically released on 14th October 2022. Satram Ramani, the director, made a complete comedy-drama film. Both Sonakshi Sinha & Huma Qureshi describe double XL size women in this movie. The film is already streaming on Netflix.
