The trailer of Huma Qureshi and Sonakshi Sinha’s upcoming film “Double XL” has been dropped. As we are entering into the modern world, body shaming and body positivity have just been a platform of criticism. We have previously seen that many celebrities already have opened up about it. They have talked openly about it and also called out the people who are judging others from the prism of superficial beauty and also about such unrealistic standards.

In India, it seems that fat-shaming is the normal way for a long time. There are also many films where the characters are lampooning on a certain weight, but now things have come to a better position. In the film Ayushmann Khurrana Duma Laga Ke Haisha in which Bhumi Pednekar was cast in the lead role of the plus size. Without having preachy, the movie has remained inclusive and also has sent such a positive message to the entire world.

The new trailer starts with Huma having a dream to meet Shikhar Dhawan, that has been disrupted by her mother who throws the exact dialogue that has been expected from a maternal person, “Is ladki ka kya Karun?” The dream of Huma to become a sports presenter gets squashed after she has told that she is too ‘healthy’ got it.

In the washroom, she has encountered Sonakshi Sinha and comes to know that she just has a break up with her boyfriend. The two broken souls catch up with each other and head to London. These people are more conscious of fatphobia, they changing the standards of ‘normal’ at the time of battling with societal expectations.

On Social media now things have been continued as a tad murky.   It is showcasing some confidence for plus-size people and also even if actors have gained weight for a movie there is an army of trolls waiting to tear down them.

Now the two actresses Sonakshi Sinha, and Huma Qureshi featuring Double XL come to give the answers to the trollers. The story mainly revolves around the two-plus size women. The trailer of the film has described some self-deprecating dialogues that are seemingly directed at the people who already have been mocked in the past and expect to do it again, and it has given the plot of the film for which they have gaining gain weight.
