It seems like Donny van de Beek could finally be on his way out of Manchester United for good. The midfielder has been left on the sidelines since joining the club in 2020, failing to make an impression and having terrible luck with injuries too.
He spent the latter half of the 2023/24 season on loan with German side Eintracht Frankfurt, who opted not to exercise the buy option in the deal. And now, it seems like Girona could complete a deal for the midfielder as soon as next week.

Understand if agreement will be completed early next week also on player side, Manchester United will have big sell-on clause.

The former Ajax player is yet to agree personal terms with the Spanish side, but they are optimistic about a final decision within the coming week. Manchester United are willing to let Van de Beek go on a deal completely based on add-ons, as things stand.
They are discussing a potential exit in the region of €4-5 million based on a certain number of appearances across all competitions. This fee could rise if the club achieves certain outcomes by next summer.
Donny van de Beek has only played 62 games for United since joining them in 2020, and has spent two loan spells to revive his career at Everton and Frankfurt. Now, a permanent move away seems to be the only option to get things back on track for the forgotten star.
