Donny van de Beek will soon become a new signing for Eintracht Frankfurt, and is set to complete his medical for the transfer imminently. The midfielder will join the former Europa League winners as a loan signing, with the option to make the move permanent in the future.Â
Manchester United have included a €11 million buy option with €4 million available in the form of add-ons. However, Eintracht might choose to keep the move a simple loan in case they are not satisfied with his performances.Â
Donny van de Beek to complete medical for Eintracht Frankfurt move soonÂ
Things haven’t worked out for the former Ajax player at Manchester United in spite of his former coach, Erik Ten Hag, being in charge. The former Netherlands international has been sidelined with Scott McTominay, Sofyan Amrabat, Bruno Fernandes, Mason Mount and even Kobbie Mainoo preferred over him.
He has only made two appearances this season, with only one brief cameo in the Premier League. With it now becoming increasingly clear that he isn’t part of Ten Hag’s plans for the future, the player is keen to move on.
Girona were interested in signing Donny van de Beek as well, but Eintracht’s offer was better, and was accepted as a result. The move will be confirmed in the coming days, and will be registered once the transfer window opens.
