Donny van de Beek could be on his way out of Manchester United in the final couple of days of the transfer window. The Dutchman has attracted interest from Crystal Palace over the last week for a loan move, and the Eagles are pushing to sign him.

And now, Everton have also joined the race for the player after Frank Lampard’s recruitment as the new manager is deemed imminent. The Toffees need a new midfielder to work with, and van de Beek is one of the targets.

Manchester United won’t accept any buy option clause included. Straight loan.

— Fabrizio Romano (@FabrizioRomano) January 29, 2022

Manchester United will not include a buy option in the loan for the player, they are only willing to accept a straight loan deal. This is because they see him as a part of the first team for the future, despite not featuring very frequently in his one-and-a-half years at the club.

Donny van de Beek has been dropped from the Netherlands national team as a result of not playing regularly, and it is vital that he gets minutes on the pitch to make the squad for the 2022 World Cup. A spell away from Old Trafford will be exactly what he needs to make it back to the national team.
