Gigio Donnarumma is set to join PSG, and the contract between the two parties has been agreed. That is according to renowned transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, who says that only medicals remain to be completed for the deal to officially go through.

Both sets of lawyers have reached an agreement on personal terms, and the player will join Paris Saint-Germain as a free agent. His contract with AC Milan will officially expire at the end of the season, and club director Paolo Maldini has stated that Donnarumma will be leaving.

A contract until 2026 has been agreed, and the deal will be announced after Wednesday when Italy takes on Switzerland in the Euros. Donnarumma is Italy’s first-choice goalkeeper and kept a clean sheet in their first match of the competition against Turkey at the Olimpico.

Should all add-ons be activated in the player’s contract, he will be looking at a salary worth €60 million over five years, which comes down to around €12 million per year. Medicals will be completed in the Italian national team camp, and Donnarumma will stay at PSG and compete for game time with Keylor Navas, who is expected to start matches.

After signing the free agent duo of Gini Wijnaldum and Gigio Donnarumma this summer, PSG are looking for a right-back this summer. Achraf Hakimi is the main target, and PSG have bid €60 million, while Inter have asked for €80 million. But, other options will also be considered by the club if they fail to land the Moroccan.
