Does Manchester United still have a chance to win the Premier League title this season?

Manchester United beat Tottenham Hotspurs last night. The Red Devils made a sensational comeback in the second half from 1-0 down to 1-3 up.

The Red Devils were much more dominating in the whole match. At the 35th minute, Edinson Cavani put one behind the net. But the goal was cancelled after a controversial foul on Heung-Min Son. Later Spurs took the lead.

But Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men came back stronger in the second half and win the game 3-1. Fred, Cavani and Mason Greenwood scored one each for the Red Devils.

With this win, Manchester United is now 7 points clear at the second position. However, they are 11 points behind the leader’s Manchester City. Manchester City also dropped points this week. Pep Guardiola’s men lost to Leeds United on Saturday by 2-1.

With 7 games in hand, it looks almost impossible for Red Devils to snatch the title over their rivals. They can only hope for a miracle.

Earlier Ole Gunnar Solskjaerd told, “I have always said, let’s get to at least March and April before we talk about a title race. You don’t talk about title races after 18-19 games.”

“We have given ourselves a very good chance of improving on last season by the position we’re in. I’d rather be in the position we’re in now, compared to the situation we were in last season. But of course, in the Premier League, there are lots of quality teams.”

“What we can control is ourselves and if we do our jobs and get as many points as I think we can do, I’m sure we’ll be up there.”

It will be interesting to see if United can do the impossible or not?
