India’s bowling attack is the best at this moment in the Test format having bowlers who can smash the best batting line-ups. Right now, Ravindra Jadeja and Jasprit Bumrah are not playing, but that didn’t make the team create any less of an impression. India has bowled out the opposition 39 times out of 49 test innings since 2020.
In 2021, out of 14 tests, India won 8 tests drew 3 and lost 3. Some victories came in foreign soil like Australia, England, and South Africa. In the past, the Indian team has struggled. Sadly, their biggest loss was in the finale of the World Test championship.
Good fast bowling can make a huge difference in a team in Test cricket. As of 2022, bowlers like Kuldeep Yadav, Axar Patel, Mohammad Shami, Mohammad Siraj, and Shardul Thakur have shown promising performances. In the first Test against Bangladesh, Kuldeep Yadav scalped 8 wickets and scored 40 runs. However, He was dropped in the second game by head coach Rahul Dravid which made the fans very furious.
The Indian pacers know their task very well and every batter has to change their approach while dealing with them individually.
Due to the injury of Jasprit Bumrah and Ravindra Jadeja, BCCI and the team management were very concerned about the bowling department. Navdeep Saini and Saurabh Kumar have been chosen by the selectors to take the places of Shami and Jadeja, respectively against the test seies in Bangladesh.

The BCCI should give young talents the right opportunity for growth and improving their skills. The bowling attack also depends on the pictures around the world. In India, the BCCI does have the financial resources to match the skills of different bowlers.
Besides India, South Africa, Australia and England have a pretty good bowling attack. The Proteas bowled out the opponents 31 times out of 37, Australia bundled out the other team in 28 times in 35 innings and England did it 54 times playing a total of 74 innings.
