## Why It Sells

The [Osmo Action 4](https://technosports.co.in/tag/dji-osmo-action-4/) uses a 1/1.3-inch sensor with 2.4 µm pixels, which DJI says gives better results in low light than small-sensor action cameras. Auto white balance helps keep colours true, including underwater.

Ten-bit colour depth and D-Log M help editors keep more detail in highlights and shadows, and the camera shoots 4K at up to 120fps. It is a previous-generation model, as the newer Osmo Action 5 Pro is listed in another article. See [DJI](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DJI).

## Value and Reviews

The 51% discount is against an M.R.P. of Rs 44,990, so the Rs 21,990 selling price is the better benchmark. Next to the Action 5 Pro, it saves about Rs 13,000 at the listed prices.

The listing ranks first among action [cameras](https://technosports.co.in/tag/dji-osmo-action-4/) and 1K+ were bought in the past month, so buyer feedback is plentiful. Read recent reviews on battery life and heat in long 4K clips.

## Who Should Buy It, and Who Should Skip

It suits cyclists, divers and travellers who want a proven action camera at a lower price. Skip it if you need the latest sensor and battery upgrades.
