ATK Mohun Bagan has added Australian striker Dimitrios Petratos to its roster in an effort to bolster their front line and replace the vacuum created by Roy Krishna and David Williams’ departure.

Prior to the start of the new season, Petratos, who represented Australia at the 2018 FIFA World Cup, will join the Mariners. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge from his time spent playing in nations such as Australia, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, and Malaysia.

Greek by birth, Dimitrios Petratos originates from a footballing family. For Sydney Olympic FC, his father, Angelo, was a defender. Kosta, his younger brother, was a teammate of his with the Jets.

In 2021, his younger sister Panagiota participated in the Newcastle W-League season. Maki, his younger brother, is a player with the Newcastle Jets FC Reserves at the moment. Additionally, Sydney Olympic FC’s under-11 team now has his little sister, Anastasia, participating.
