“Rome is beautiful, an incredible city, and I think it is almost impossible to find a better place to play football.

“The club is fighting to achieve great things on all fronts this season and I am ready to make my contribution towards that.”

Diego Llorente made the move to Elland Road in 2020 from Real Sociedad. Although he had a bright start to life with Leeds, his contribution eventually started to reduce progressively. The Spaniard has been given the [number 14 shirt by the Giallorossi](https://twitter.com/ASRomaEN/status/1620485465060024320?s=20&t=ugkA0HgLWHywUJYLftPkNw). And with the second half of the season remaining, there will be ample opportunities for him to impress and help build upon their current sixth place in the team.
