Kohli’s nickname is Cheeku given by his Delhi coach Ajit Chaudhary when he was playing for Ranji trophy. In an interview, he revealed that he was losing a lot of hair at that time so his coach Mr. Chaudhary suggested he trim his hair. With short hair, big ears, and chubby cheeks he looked like Cheeku the rabbit. That’s how the skipper got his nick name.

Virat has a total of four tattoos including a golden dragon and samurai warrior which are supposed bring him good luck.

A day before Virat’s Ranji match, his father passed away. He decided to play and scored 90 runs for the team.

10. Virat Kohli is one of the highest-paid athletes in the world

Virat is the highest-paid athlete in entire South Asia. He’s the only Indian sports athlete to be mentioned in the Forbes list last year in the category of highest paid sports athlete in the world.
