## The Record Books Have Been Rewritten

*Dhurandhar: The Revenge* collected USD 2.85 million during its third weekend alone, crossing the USD 40 million overseas mark and becoming only the third Bollywood film ever to achieve this in its original release. What makes that even more staggering? Unlike Pathaan and Jawan — the other two films to achieve this feat — *Dhurandhar: The Revenge* missed the Middle East entirely, one of the biggest overseas markets for Indian films.

Crossing Rs 1,500 crore in roughly just two weeks, it became the fastest Indian film to ever hit this landmark — a title previously uncontested in Indian cinema history. It is currently the fourth-highest-grossing Indian film of all time and the second-highest-grossing Hindi-language film worldwide. [Wikipedia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dhurandhar:_The_Revenge)

## Smashing Records Globally

In North America, the film dethroned *Baahubali 2: The Conclusion*, which had held the record at USD 20.2 million for nearly nine years, with *Dhurandhar: The Revenge* crossing USD 23 million. At the domestic box office, it has also become the biggest Hindi blockbuster of all time in terms of net collections, surpassing even Pushpa 2: The Rule and Stree 2.
