Let’s be honest — nobody saw Dhurandhar 2 doing *this*. What started as a sequel to an already massive hit has turned into a full-blown box office phenomenon that’s rewriting the record books. **Dhurandhar: The Revenge** is not just running — it’s accelerating, and the numbers are absolutely staggering.

## Dhurandhar 2 Day-Wise Box Office Collections (Hindi, India)

| Period | Collection (Nett) |
| --- | --- |
| 🗓️ Week 1 (8 Days) | Rs. 570.50 crore |
| 📅 2nd Friday | Rs. 37.00 crore |
| 📅 2nd Saturday | Rs. 55.50 crore |
| 📅 2nd Sunday | Rs. 58.00 crore |
| 📅 2nd Monday | Rs. 21.50 crore |
| 📅 2nd Tuesday (est.) | Rs. 24.50 crore |
| 🏆 **Running Total** | **Rs. 767 crore** |

## What Makes These Numbers Historic?

That 2nd Tuesday jump alone tells you everything. A **12% spike over 2nd Monday** mid-week is phenomenal — it means audiences are still actively choosing Dhurandhar 2 over everything else in theatres, which almost never happens on a Tuesday this deep into a run.

At Rs. 767 crore nett in Hindi alone, the film has already surpassed KGF: Chapter 2, Jawan, and every other Bollywood heavyweight — sitting as the **second-highest-grossing Hindi film ever**, trailing only its own predecessor, the original Dhurandhar (Rs. 788 crore nett). The sequel is expected to overtake that record within the next day or two, officially making it the **#1 Hindi film of all time at the domestic box office**.

The full second week is projected to land around **Rs. 220-225 crore nett**, taking the cumulative total close to **Rs. 800 crore nett** in Hindi. With a clear run until Bhooth Bangla (reportedly delayed by a week), the film has a real shot at crossing the **Rs. 1,000 crore nett mark** in Hindi — an achievement no Hindi film has managed domestically.

## A Franchise That Changed Bollywood

Director Aditya Dhar has done something almost no filmmaker achieves: built a franchise that outperforms its own first instalment. While [Ranveer Singh](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ranveer_Singh) has always been known as one of Bollywood’s most bankable stars, Dhurandhar 2 cements his status as the genre’s ultimate action hero in a completely different league.

The original Dhurandhar was already classified as an Industry Hit. The sequel is now heading toward becoming something the industry hasn’t had a word for yet.
