Trade analyst Taran Adarsh confirmed the storm on social media, posting that *Dhurandhar 2* is trending on BookMyShow with a staggering 7,500 tickets sold per hour for paid preview shows.

With the film targeting a ₹100 crore opening day, *Dhurandhar: The Revenge* is poised to redefine box office benchmarks for Indian cinema.

## What’s the Film About?

An undercover Indian intelligence agent continues infiltrating Karachi’s criminal syndicates and political power structures in Pakistan while avenging the 26/11 attacks and confronting even bigger threats in this direct sequel to the 2025 blockbuster *Dhurandhar* .

The film is written, co-produced, and directed by Aditya Dhar under Jio Studios and B62 Studios, and stars Ranveer Singh, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi, and Danish Pandor — with digital streaming rights acquired by JioHotstar for ₹150 crore.

Unlike the first part, *The Revenge* will also release in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada — targeting a truly pan-India audience on March 19, 2026, coinciding with Eid al-Fitr, Gudi Padwa, and Ugadi.
