Dhanush’s latest thriller *Kara* is facing a brutal reality check. After a decent opening, the film suffered a catastrophic 65% drop this Monday. With only Rs. 29.50 crore earned in five days, momentum has vanished. Projections suggest a disappointing Rs. 33–40 crore lifetime finish. Despite the star power, weak word-of-mouth has effectively stalled this Gulf War drama’s theatrical journey.
