Dhanush delivers another masterclass in the 1990s-set thriller *Kara*, bringing raw intensity to his role as a desperate thief. While the production design and high-tension heist sequences are stellar, the film ultimately falters. A sluggish second half and uneven screenplay dilute its potential, leaving the narrative feeling disjointed. It’s a visual triumph held back by messy, conventional commercial pacing.
