The verdict is in — Ajay Devgn’s Dhamaal 4 has crossed into HIT territory, and it’s doing so as part of a surprisingly strong year for Bollywood comedy-action releases.

### Dhamaal 4: Five-Day Collection Snapshot

The film added Rs. 9.50 crore nett on Tuesday, with Wednesday advances tracking close to Monday’s numbers — a sign that word-of-mouth is holding up well past opening weekend.

| Day | Collection |
| --- | --- |
| Friday | Rs. 14.00 cr |
| Saturday | Rs. 22.50 cr |
| Sunday | Rs. 28.00 cr |
| Monday | Rs. 8.25 cr |
| Tuesday | Rs. 9.50 cr |
| **Total (5 Days)** | **Rs. 82.25 cr** |

With the first week now tracking toward Rs. 96-97 crore nett, Dhamaal 4 becomes the fourth Hindi film to hit HIT status in 2026, joining Border 2, Dhurandhar 2, and Bhooth Bangla on that list.

### Why Tuesday’s Numbers Stood Out

What made Tuesday’s jump notable is that it came without the film opting for discounted pricing — audiences showed up anyway. It’s a small but telling signal about the film’s pull, especially since skipping Tuesday discounts is often a risky call for a film performing at HIT rather than blockbuster levels.

### Smooth Sailing Ahead — For Now

Dhamaal 4 has a fairly clear run for roughly three weeks until Spider-Man: Brand New Day arrives. Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey releases this week too, but it caters to a different audience segment and screen count, meaning direct competition remains limited. Franchise comedies like the Dhamaal series have historically leaned on repeat viewership and multiplex-friendly humor to sustain themselves during such windows ([Wikipedia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dhamaal_(film_series))).
