The All New Dell Pro Wireless Mouse and Keyboard

Notably, Alienware revealed its latest offerings tailored for professional PC gamers, unveiling the Alienware Pro Wireless Mouse and Alienware Pro Wireless Keyboard, both developed in collaboration with input from over 100 eSports players, including members of Team Liquid.

According to a blog post by Alienware, the Wireless Pro Mouse features a rounded symmetrical shape designed for universal comfort, making it suitable for a wide range of users. Weighing in at under 60g, the mouse boasts an optical sensor with an impressive 26,000 DPI. In wireless mode, it supports a polling rate of up to 4KHz with a rapid 0.25ms response time. When connected via USB cable, these metrics can escalate to a staggering 8KHz polling rate with a mere 0.125ms response time.

One standout feature of the mouse is its “Magnetic-Force Keyplates with optical switches.” Alienware explains that these keyplates leverage magnetic force to enhance the Pro Mouse’s debounce times, registering mouse clicks faster and improving rapid clicking speed while preventing button stick. The mouse’s onboard battery offers an impressive lifespan of up to 120 hours at 1KHz polling or around 32 hours with the higher 4KHz polling.

Complementing the mouse, the Alienware Pro Wireless Keyboard boasts a compact 75 percent form factor design. Equipped with Alienware Linear Mechanical Switches featuring a 40g actuation force for swift response times, the keyboard also supports most 5-pin and 3-pin switches, allowing users to customize their experience using the included puller tool.

Both products are set to be available in North America from Thursday, January 11, with the Alienware Pro Wireless Mouse priced at $149.99 and the Alienware Pro Wireless Keyboard at $199.99. These additions reflect Alienware’s commitment to delivering innovative and high-performance peripherals for the gaming community.
