CES 2021 is fast approaching and all major tech giants are preparing to unveil their new and upgraded products. Recently, Dell announced that it is going to refresh the Precision 3550 model for CES 2021. The new upgraded machine will be called the Precision 3560 and will feature Tiger Lake-U series processors instead of the Comet Lake-U ones that Dell included with the Precision 3550.
The OEM announced that the Precision 3560 is designed with ‘reclaimed carbon fiber and bio-plastics’ and also that the machine has a new Pro2 keyboard and a larger trackpad than the one found in the Precision 3550. But the dedicated buttons have been removed from the larger trackpad. Not only are the dedicated trackpad buttons missing but the pointing-stick from last year’s model is also missing.
The company announced that the Precision 3560 will be available from January 12 in the US, but the company is yet to reveal when it plans to bring the mobile workstation to other markets. The cost, for now, will start at US$1,189.
Here are the specifications of the new model:
- Core i5-1135G7 – Core i7-1185G7
- NVIDIA Quadro T500 dedicated GPU
- up to 64 GB of DDR4-3200 RAM
- 1.59 kg
