Dell’s proprietory gaming laptop series abbreviated as the Alienware series of laptops has just got updated at the Computex 2019. These are thin and portable gaming laptops that do not compromise on the performance front.
Alienware m17
The Alienware m17 packs in a 17-inch FHD display with options of both 60Hz and 144Hz refresh rates. Also, there’s the Tobii Eye Tracking technology that allows users to interact with the laptop by just using their eyes.
Under the hood, you get a 9th-gen Intel processor that can be configured up to an Intel Core i9-9980HK CPU. Also, it is coupled with 16GB of RAM, and up to 4TB PCIe SSD.
On the graphics front, you get a lot of options, you can configure your laptop’s graphics up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Max-Q GPU which helps you game to the fullest.
Alienware m15
The Alienware m15 is a lot more scalable and customizable as it provides you with 3 types of display options – including 1080p at 60Hz, 1080p at 240Hz, OLED UHD at 60Hz. It has got a 15.6-inch standard laptop screen and it also comes with Tobii Eye Tracking support.
The hardware here is quite similar to its brother, featuring the 9th-gen Intel processors, which can be configured up to the Core i9-9980HK. This can be paired with 16GB RAM, and up to 4TB of PCIe SSD.
Also for the graphics, the GPU can be configured to the best RTX 2080 Max-Q GPU. The Max-Q design helps fit such powerful graphics on to thin and light laptops.
Both the Alienware m15 and m17 will hit the shelves of the US market from June 11 with a starting price tag of $1,499.
